1. Question: How many photos do we get?
Answer: We don't set a limit on the number of photos we shoot or deliver for each wedding; but, if you select our 6 hour package then that will get you about 600-900 photos. If you have our full day package then can expect 900 - 1500 photos depending on how much is happening throughout the day.
2. Question: We don't really like being posed/looking fake, is that OK?
Answer: We’re right there with you. There are some production companies that do this quite well, but as you can tell from our work, we have a much more relaxed approach and focus on getting more candid style shots. Our films always turn out best when people feel as comfortable as possible which what we always aim to do. For the most part, you won’t even know we’re there!
3. Question: Do you do destination weddings and elopements?
Answer: We sure do and we can't get enough of them! We'd love to quote you customize a package that suits you and we always try to make it as affordable as possible.
4. Question: How long until we receive our photos and videos?
Answer: We try to give every wedding the attention it deserves and thus take our time editing the wedding to insure quality. You can expect to receive sneak peaks from your wedding within two weeks of the wedding date. This entails sneak peak photos and/or a sneak peak wedding trailer. Final products will be delivered digitally in an additional link. Photos are delivered within 8 weeks of your wedding date. Depending on the video package, selected videos are delivered within 8 weeks (minus holidays) from the wedding date. We may vary on these delivery dates during high volume wedding seasons.
5. Question: How do we lock in a booking?
Answer: Once you have decided we are the perfect fit for you, just email us at email@example.com and we will send the the paperwork for you to sign and provide you with an invoice for a 30% non-refundable retainer.
6.Question: Who will our Photographer or Videographer be?
Answer: We have a staffed team of 6 photographers and 6 videographers who all could potentially shoot your wedding. Each of our team members have been carefully selected and interviewed. We only work with the highest quality professionals both in quality of work and attitude. When the photographer/videographer is booked we will send a confirmation email with the names of your photographer/videographer. If requested a meeting can be scheduled prior to the wedding date.
7. Question: How long are the videos? What is the difference between a highlight and full film?
Answer: The length of the video depends on how many hours we are booked to shoot. Usually 4 hours of coverage will yield a 10-15 minute full film. 6 Hours coverage usually makes a 10-20 minute long full film and 8 hours of coverage makes for a 15-25 minute long full film. A highlight film, if purchased, is between 3-6 minutes long and is a faster paced video with quicker cuts, more angles and much more cinematic. The full film includes the ceremony in it's entirety as well as first dances, toasts and cake cutting.
8. Question: How is the music selected?
Answer: In most cases we will choose the music unless the client has specified otherwise. We get a feel of the genre that most fits the footage and feeling of the day. From there we add 1-3 songs per video and match it to the different segments. Full films usually include the first dance song. Highlight films will have one main track that usually is not a copyrighted piece. We pay to licencee songs so we can post the highlight on social media.
9. Question: How do we receive our photos/videos and RAW video?
Answer: Every package includes a digital download of every file with a copyright release. The pictures are sent through either Smugmug, Dropbox, or G Drive. Videos are hosted either on YouTube or Vimeo and sent either through G Drive, Dropbox, or Mediazilla. If selected as an add-on photos and videos can be mailed on a DVD, SD card, or Flash drive. No watermarks are ever used on photos or videos.
If selected as an add-on, RAW video will be loaded on to a SD card or Flash drive and mailed. This footage is unedited and completely untouched. RAW video must be selected as an add-on before the wedding date. We archive RAW video from each wedding for 3 months only.
10. Question: My venue requires all vendors have their own insurance. Do you have liability insurance?
Answer: Yes! We are insured for $1,000,000. Most venues around the Jacksonville area have us listed as a preferred vendor and have our insurance on file.
